Terms of Service

By registering for or using BasketVibe at basketvibe.com (the "Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

If you already have an account and disagree with these Terms, contact admin@basketvibe.com to request closure.

Your use of BasketVibe is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

BasketVibe is a free browser-based basketball manager game. You manage a virtual club, compete in leagues, make transfers, set tactics, and interact with other managers in a persistent game world.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. The Service is provided on an ongoing-development basis, without guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

BasketVibe currently does not charge any fee. We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future; if we do, we will update these Terms first.

2. Eligibility and registration

You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you need consent from a parent or guardian.

To play, you register with an email address, password, manager username, country, and club name. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secret. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

Registration is complete only after you confirm via the activation email. Pending sign-ups expire after 48 hours. One email address may be linked to only one active account.

You may not choose a username or club name that impersonates another person, is fraudulent, infringes third-party rights, or is vulgar or offensive. We may require a change, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

3. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use BasketVibe for your own entertainment. We may revoke it at any time, including if you breach these Terms.

4. Rules of conduct

You agree not to:

  • share your account or let others play on it (one person, one account);
  • use bots, scripts, macros, cheats, exploits, or automation to play or scrape the Service;
  • reverse engineer or copy the game, except where mandatory law allows;
  • harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm other users;
  • post unlawful, offensive, infringing, or spam content;
  • collect or reveal other players' personal data without permission;
  • run multiple accounts for unfair advantage;
  • sell, buy, or trade accounts, clubs, or in-game progress for real money;
  • interfere with the Service or break applicable law.

If you find a bug, report it instead of exploiting it. We may investigate violations and apply sanctions at our discretion, including warnings, content removal, suspension, or permanent ban.

5. User content and ownership

You may submit content in the game (messages, names, images, feedback, and similar materials — "User Content").

You keep ownership of your User Content, but grant us a licence to host, use, display, and distribute it as needed to operate BasketVibe and show it to other players where the game design makes it visible. You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the right to post it.

BasketVibe, including its software, match engine, graphics, databases, league structures, simulated players, and game-world data, is owned by us. You do not acquire ownership of virtual items, currencies, statistics, or persistent world records. We may change game balance, rules, and world state as part of normal operation.

We may monitor, remove, or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice.

6. Inactivity and termination

Either you or we may end your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, cheat, abuse the Service, or create risk for BasketVibe or other users.

If you do not sign in for 45 days, your account may be closed at the next season rollover. You may register again with the same email to receive a new club. Your previous club remains in the game world as a bot.

Password reset links expire after 48 hours and invalidate existing sessions when used. Some game-world records may remain after account closure because leagues and match history are part of the persistent world.

7. Disclaimers and liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BASKETVIBE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. VIRTUAL MATCH RESULTS ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS CURRENTLY FREE, THIS IS TYPICALLY ZERO.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, OR PROFITS, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Service.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after changes means acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service and contact us to close your account.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and BasketVibe.

They are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence.
