Fair play update: Game Master team formed
A few days ago, players on Discord flagged a series of suspicious transfers. Those reports started everything below. Transfer fairness matters to all of us, so here's where things stand.
The team
I've invited three players to help review violation reports, aiming for region diversity, no two managers from the same country, and strong communication skills:
- @aeolian, representing APAC
- @elemapimpilimpi and @chanceler, representing EU (our biggest region, so two seats)
I'm confident this group will earn your trust in handling difficult cases. Congratulation guys!
Progress so far
- The team jointly agreed one case looks suspicious. The manager involved has received a message with the evidence and been asked to explain
- A second case is under investigation and will likely go the same way
- Investigators now have a tool that gathers all of a club's activity in one place. I won't share details, so it doesn't make cheating any easier
- Additional game enhancements will automate the work
To avoid public accusations, we won't disclose which clubs are being examined.
How we work
The team spans several timezones, and we only act when all of us agree. That means investigations take a bit of time, but we'll get there and potentional violation will be examined.
Fairness violations are and will be treated with highest priority.
